I did not
Boquets of roses
Candlelit dinners or
Walks in the moonlight
Candles burn out and
The moon goes down
I asked for your love
Love is forever
The answer is near,
Now do what must be done.
We hurt, we feel
That's why we're real
Protect your innerself and grow.
Throughout life we learn,
we desrve what we earn
We are respnsible for ourselves.
Looking through mirrored
A glassy disguise.
Seeing the introspect
Inside the very heart
No body present
Your soul's the art
Seeing Him everywhere
No person to see
Knowing god is there
In your heart, soul, and eyes
No one must believe you
It's in you that He resides.
My son, my friend
Wherever I go, whatever I do.
I feel the need to be close to you.
Even though now I must go away
I'll be loving and thinking of you everyday
I prayone day soon we'll be together again.
Cause you're not just my son, you're my very best friend
So think of me son like I'll think of you
Rely on yourself to know what to do
If I've done my job and I've done it right
You'll make the most of your life
And won't give up the fight.
There was a smell of life in the air tonight.
What did life smell like?
Like the people around us,
And the sweet, sweet smell of happiness
Andjoy that fills the world with the light
Of peaceand harmony
and the smell of the earth below us.
And if you wondered what life sounded like,
It sounded like the joyful laughter of children
And the sound of tiny babies crying everywhere
And the sound of people in peace
And harmony Loving one another.
And going further, what did life look like?
Life looked like the sweet smile
Of a babys first glimpse of life.
That was how life smelled and looked and sounded,
And tonight you could almost touch
The greatest gift of all.
Tami's son at age 9.
There are times when I feel that I really
What's expected from me and how to grow.
Te rest of the time I'm confused and blue.
I can't figure it out, I haven't got a clue.
I've followed my heart, suffered too much pain
People take advantage and I've been used again
I keep rolling with the flow, trying to learn my lesson
But the users keep coming, an endless procession
It's not in my nature to let my heart be cruel
Contradicts my childhood, breaks the Golden Rule
My hope is for people to help one another
This special wish was inspired by my mother
All of her life she has spent giving
She helped everyone and everything living.
So my heart keeps bleeding for those that are near
But most of all in the world
I'm missing my mother dear
My Heart Bleeds
People homeless in the streets
Children with no food to eat
My heart bleeds
Old people dying all alone
Living in a nursing home
My heart bleeds
Prisons filling up with thugs
Too many people doing drugs
My heart bleeds
God doesn't seem to be on mans mind
the degradation of all mankind
My heart bleeds.
Speak to me
Tell me of the mystery
So many souls
are now in need
searching their minds
for a way to be freed.
Silence was the answer
that the universe sighed
As a mother gave birth
to a child
In the meadows
a bird sings
While the wind blows
the sea it does near
With its voice in the night
there can never be darkness
without any light.

I raised my eyes up to see
A winged horse with pelt of green
Proud neck and muscles lean
Soaring over the foamy sea.
He raised his plumes high in the air
Shook his mane of emerald hair
Filled the wind with neighing cries
And looked at me with amber eyes.
He landed on the golden sand
Slowly I reached out my hand
And as I touched his silky side
He asked to take me for a ride.
Rising above the scarlet clouds
Flying at the speed of sound
We traveled over the iron mountains
Here,there and everywhere
Water splashing through the air
Reflecting colors,glistening light
In a dim and darkened night
On the marble walks we played
Until the darkness turned to day
When we reached the beach again
I began to wonder where I'd been
And I saw no time had passed
Since the time I stood there last.

Dog Tired - Needs Love
I'm always here for you when you want me,
And even when you don't.
You know you can come to me when you're sad,-
For unconditional love, but you won't.
I sit out here for hours, days and weeks
I have a voice, but I don't dare speak.
I'm cuddly to passersby and to your friends
You show me off to them, as if you're proud of me,
But why is it when it comes to you caring for me- The giving of love has to end?
There are some neighborhood children who live down the street
They stop by, pat me on the head, and talk to me when you're gone.
Oh, how I wish you could meet.
They seem to know when I want to play, need a hug, or hear a kind word
And even though I'm not allowed to "speak"-
To them it doesn't matter, my thoughts are heard.

For What Its Worth
Just beyond the horizon,
is the setting sun.
On the other side of the world,
a new day has begun.
We all live separate lives,
yet all share one earth,
and we need to say it more-
"I love you" (all),
for what it's worth. :)

If all lips spoke the truth,
All pride was cast aside,
Greed was packed and stored away,
And jealousy subside.
If love could rule the universe,
Kindness was sown to every race,
Then one could glance into a mirror
And view God in His face…

Learn to Listen
Learn to listen like a teddy bear,
With ears open and mouth closed tight.
Learn to forgive like a teddy bear,
With an open heart, not caring who is right.
Learn to love like a teddy bear,
With arms open and imperfect eyesight.
Do not ask for your life's load lightened,
But for courage to endure.
Do not ask for fulfillment in all your life,
Do not ask for perfection in all you do,
But for the wisdom not to repeat mistakes.
And finally, do not ask for more,
Before saying, "Thank you,"
For what you have already received.
If you're looking for somebody to blame -
Look in the mirror.
There is no challenge that cannot be met,
And dream that cannot be achieved.
All you have to do
Is really and truly believe.
